FAQ
- I cannot choose any server other than s1.travian.com! - Please check to make sure that your computer accept cookies and that the time on your computer is correct. This will prevent you from being able to select the right server.
- Why does the site go down for 2 hours every day? - To keep the data fresh, we do an update of all server once per day. This update is very intensive on the host (HostICan.com). As a result they shut down my site when the load is too high.
- Why is crop information not available for my server? - Crop information is separate from using and village information. To collect this, I use a set of program that opens each of the 640,000 (800x800) map tiles and parses the type. This is time consuming and bandwidth intensive. It you have a request for a specific server, please leave a comment (i.e. Please add the crop information for http://s1.travian.com/)
- Aren't crop finders illegal? - I do run a crop finder using a travian account. My account is clearly in violation of the Travian rules. However, I see nothing in the rules that prevents a user from using cropper information that someone else has collected.
- Can you add my server? - The short answer is I would love to. However, due to hosting restrictions, I cannot support any more servers.
